Russ The Celebrity Waiter
Saturday, May 17th I had the pleasure of serving my fellow man  (actually men... and women) at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's fund-raising dinner and auction at the Yuma Golf & Country Club.  I was bad.  Really bad.  But I thank Annie Fisher of Fisher Chevy for allowing me to help out.  At least I found out how to make an Arnold Palmer.

Everything you always wanted to know about me, but were never motivated enough to ask...

I was born on a small island in the North Atlantic that Native Americans called Manhattan.  I grew up listening to the best DeeJays in the world, namely Dan Ingram, Scott Muni and Dr. Don Rose.  The last 2 have since passed away.

After moving to South Jersey, I got my start in radio at a small station in Manahawkin back in the long, long ago time.  I met my wife, Rhonda while working at a station in Atlantic City.  Between the 2 of us, we have 4 children.

Between then and now, I've worked in places like New York City, Philadelphia and Columbus, Ohio.  Go Bucks!  Met a lot of stars like Elton John and Billy Joel... worked with a few, like Danny Bonaduce.

When the opportunity presented itself, I jumped at the chance to relocate to Yuma.  Great weather and a chance to work for "local" radio.  Being part of a close-knit community and having a one-to-one relationship with listeners can't be beat.  And working with a team of geniunely fantastic people is a big plus.
